Tune in here to see just what is going on in the crazy hazy World of Podgethepuffer. It's all harmless, but if you feel it isn't please, please let me know.
Firstly, sorry to see you are parting with your nearest and dearest.
My fella has been talking about getting a fixie he can use on the road for ages and I want to surpose him. Had a look at the Colnago site but couldn’t see reference to this one. Has it been built up from frame or something? What’s the frame made of please?
Many people only me by the name of Podge or Codge, so certainly that’s not a problem. As for the bike, it’s actually a stock Colnago steel frame bike. I went to the bike show last year in Earls Court and saw it there on the Colnago stand and when ‘Her indoors’ said how nice it was, it was only a matter of days before it was in my possession. Unfortunately. at around this time, my breathing took a turn for the worse (regrettable, even though I managed to stop smoking in 1996, I it was soon enough and the damage to my lungs was irreparable [though I still intend to prove them wrong, which I why I'm keeping hold of the Colnago Geo Dream]. I bought it for £1200 through my local Colnago Dealer. It does seem however that they have now discontinued the model, making it even more a rarity. I rode it round the drive twice, about 50 feet and since then it’s been in the garage molly coddles with all the other bikes.
If I can find on ol catalogue I’ll scan the details in for you.
